Star Wars: Clone wars – Review

I Just couln’t leave my fingertips at peace after watching this animation movie.

The brand Star Wars has always been in my top prirority list. After seeing this slow paced, lagging with no storyline and plot movie my thoughts have changed because Star Wars animation movie sucked a lot.

With great honour I can say that Lucas has dishounoured himself in front of millions of fans (that’s just my opinion).

Maybe I have this strange feeling of somebody having stolen my childhoods dreams and hopes because I managed to watched a few episodes of the “Star Wars: Clone wars” show. And those 25 minutes flew by in a blink of an eye and that gave me the hope that the movie will be superb.

This sad experience once again shows don’t pump up your expectations too high or you will be heavily disappointed.

Actors – meaning voices

As far as I could tell not watching in the imbd.com to see the real truth it seemed that the voices were recorded by the same persons who played roles in the third episode of Star wars.

But looking in the imdb.com I was surprised to see that only few of them was arranged to make polygon characters feel more alive.

Christopher Lee – Count Duku
Anthony Daniels – C-3PO
Samuel L.Jackson – Mace Windu
Ian McDiarmid – Emperor Palpetine/Darth Sidious

Thats it no McGregor, Portman, Christensen or others, though the character voices were very convincingly similar as theirs.

Design – places

This was quite poor, only a few locations not very vivid. Mostly desert, space, the ship deck or cockpit in although it’s quite difficult to rate realism as I have never been in such locations myself. But all the time I had a feeling that if this was a film with real actors it would have felt more real and more true.

Storyline – don’t read this if you want to go and see the movie yourself.

So, it’s as simple as the bedtime story to your little brother, sister or your child.

Listen carefully – The Galactic republic is at war with Seperatists. At this time Separatists have worked out a cunning plan how to get the control over the skys which is controlled by Jabba the Hutt. They kidnapp his son and let the Jabba to turn for help to the Jedai Knights who, being in a heat of a fights all over the place can’t realy help right away.

When they get there and save the son of the Jabba the Seperatist turn the table over and play their ace making Jabba believe that the Jedai has kidnapped his son and are playing with him. So now he asks for Jedai deth for Count Dooku.

At the end as always lucky by accident the Padme find out that behind this is a Ziro the Hutt’s conspiracy with Count Dooku to get away the jabba the Hutt.

And no Jedai dies and Galactic republic now have a safe tunnel how to get supplies to the frontiers of the battle.

The value for money

Saddly but I can give only 2 stars out of 10. I was happy when the film was over.
